In the quarry of Meudon Montalets. The five quarry levels.

We used to come to rest in this beautiful round room during our visits to the quarry. The hole in the center of the room no longer exists. At left, behind the door, there's a view of the corridor from the heights.

On the ceiling there is a site for a large beam. There was probably a winch.

Control Room of the NATO radar base, the fort of Mount Salbert.

Fort Lefebvre culminates at the top of Mount Salbert 650m altitude. It said a strong "Sere River". It was built from 1874 to 1877. On May 12, 1955, NATO reuses the fort to house a communications center and a radar base. The book is officially delivered to the Air Force ole March 26, 1958. The book "G" Air Defense Planning (DAT) has 7 radio antennas. The old fort is used as a barracks for soldiers.

The radar base is not exactly the strong, but under the fort. Access from the fort is a long staircase of 322 stairs that descends into a concrete wall strongly.

The site is no longer running quickly but it remains occupied by the army until 1972. The mayor of Belfort is the current owner. It secures the site is now a promenade.

The old aquarium of Trocadero, in front of the Palais of Chaillot. Today, everything has been rebuilt and the aquarium is brand new.

A big plunge into the void. At the bottom of the image, the tower "mirrors", and my old office, for the first time from above. This photo was published in the book Babel Tower, the work of master edition of foreign literature at the University of the Sorbonne.

Photography taken on the top of the iron virgin. The iron comes from russian canons, taken during an old war of the second empire. At the back, you can see the cathdral of Le Puy en Velay.

Like many industrial buildings, the warehouses of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce and Industry) have been constructed to withstand heavy loads. Both buildings have followed the trend of increasing concrete, early twentieth century. In the manner of some cathedrals, the lower floors boast a strong and massive concrete pillars whose diameter decreases gradually with height in stages. This is especially evident when one observes the facade from below.

Originally, these warehouses were used to store grain and flour. In taking possession in 1929, the ICC enjoys a strategic investment (The Ourcq channel, railway) and modernized the building to add elevators, more capable than the old mobile cranes to the variety of Goods transiting.

The printing-machines were located in the basement of the building. When i took the photography, there was an old smell of oil.

those drawing are very old. The church master told me that they were done by choir childrens in the ancient times.
