Private hospital abandoned Marly le Roi. Now demolished, they are beautiful brand new houses instead.

The quarry Montesson was used (as often) for the cultivation of mushrooms. Long abandoned, the quarry of building stone has been cut in half during the construction of the highway A14. In 2010, further work has finally destroyed this beautiful part of the quarry.

A beautiful medieval cellar cave excavated by some groups in the area. 1800 tons of debris have been removed to give a breath of life to those underground. These caves communicate with each other on a good part of the hill. They share an old quarry, very small, very pretty and beautifully preserved.

In the quarry of Meudon Montalets. The five quarry levels.

We used to come to rest in this beautiful round room during our visits to the quarry. The hole in the center of the room no longer exists. At left, behind the door, there's a view of the corridor from the heights.

On the ceiling there is a site for a large beam. There was probably a winch.

A view of the curtains of the roof of an art deco building 37 street of the Louvre. This building was built in 1934 by the architect Fernand Leroy and Jacques Cury to accommodate both newspapers Paris-Midi and Paris-Soir. Five years later, two million newspapers are coming out of the printing press in the basement of the building. The construction, modern, is fully planned for the implementation of newspapers. There is even a big diesel engine provided electricity in case of power failure. The upper floors are the most beautiful terraces where guests are received in peace, enjoying the magnificent view.
But like any business in the world war two who worked with german army, management changes hands for the release and communists newspapers took in commands: Ce Soir, Liberation, National Front (far left a newspaper) and humankind. Later Dawn and the Figaro will merge in 1985. It is said that some nights where humanity and the Figaro had printed, we brushed the confusion of pages.
This ship (as some people called the building) has been completely renovated from 2007 to 2008 and was included in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments. Some renovations are debatable but you can not stop progress.

To access the roof of the French comedy, you must go through the Constitutional Council, guarded by the gendarmerie. The place is significant, but so beautiful that one wonders why it does not officially open to visitors ...

A small ossuary under the cemetery of Kremlin Bicetre. The bones are piled into a former quarry. They are not numerous, suggesting that they come from concessions not renewed. It remains a part of the quarry particularly pretty, with
beautiful arm pillars.
