We have heard of this fortress by the village children. Contrary to appearances, the building is modern and represents only the ravings of a lover of ancient weapons.

This quarry was cutted by the cconstruction of a new building. At the back, a wall. Behind this wall, the new building.

This is the second access of the mass of gold in the underground quarry of Saint-Leu Esserent. The mass of gold is deeper than the rest of the underground quarry. Therefore it is accessed by descending (left in photo).

The underground lake in the salt mine is over 100 meters long and 40 meters wide. Across the bridge by boat. The scope of the vault is impressive!

This is an old part of the Gard aqueduct, hidded by the forest.
